Dr Stephen Smith
Dr Stephen Smith has implemented employee learning and development programs in a broad range of non-profit, government and corporate organisations in Australia, New Zealand and USA.
He has a PhD (University of Sydney) focused on leadership health and effectiveness; a Doctor of Management (SCU) with a focus on organisational development; an Master of Business Administration (UWS); a Master of Business Law (SCU); and undergraduate qualifications in theology and counselling. He is also a Professor within the Sydney College of Divinity.
Stephen is a Partner at The Colloquium Group. His specialist areas are in human development and bringing out the best in people through: leadership development, change management, non-profit governance, executive coaching, and organisational cultural change. With extensive board experience, he is also skilled in internal audits for the purpose of governance, academic and compliance systems particularly in not-for-profit organisations.
For ten years he served as the CEO of the Australian College of Ministries, a premier leadership institution for Christian ministry with over 1000 students studying from Certificate III to PhD with specialist degrees in Theology, Leadership, Missions, Ministry and Professional Supervision. He is also a Director of The Centre for Leadership Development, an international consortium of consultants and researchers.
